    Cinema and Online Safety Presentation Evening - 4th February 2019

    On Monday 4th February, we will be hosting an online safety presentation for parents hosted by 2 former police officers who specialise in online safety.  They give a strong message but they also offer practical advice for dealing with the issues presented to our children by the online world.  Feedback from parents at other schools is that this is something that should not be missed. The PPT will be hosting a FREE cinema evening for children which will run alongside the online safety presentation so that as many parents/carers can attend the presentation. Please click here...

    The National School Breakfast Programme

    The National School Breakfast Programme  Our school has joined the government’s National School Breakfast Programme (NSBP), which is being delivered by the charities Family Action and Magic Breakfast.  As a NSBP School we are pleased to offer a healthy school breakfast, available to all, and enjoy the benefits that brings, with children settled and ready to learn at the start of the school day. During our first week we would like to invite parents/carers to join their child and sample the fresh bagels and cereal. Wait at the classroom entrance as normal and you will be invited in.     Fantastic results achieved at Dilkes Academy.....

    The Department for Education released the schools' performance tables this week and we are delighted to share the results with you. Please click here to view the letter sent to parents by Mr Latham, Headteacher. Catalyst Academies Trust, of which Dilkes Academy are a part, were ranked in the top 10 highest performing multi-academy trusts in the country for 2018.

    Roots to Food Event

    Year 3 and 4 had the opportunity to cook with Roots to Food today. Both year groups made a Chicken Rogan Josh with Sultana Rice and Naan Fingers.  The children had a wonderful time and the school smelt amazing all day!
